City of FWB Operations Resume Tuesday, August 17

Tropical Storm Fred made landfall east of Fort Walton Beach today with no damaging winds or flooding rain in our area. All City operations will return to normal tomorrow, August 17, and City facilities will reopen to the public. We would like to thank the community for preparing for this storm and all of the City staff that worked to ensure public needs were met today. Please continue to follow the National Weather Service Mobile, Okaloosa County Public Safety and City of FWB social pages for updates on severe weather. Remember to remain vigilant during Hurricane Season. Be sure your emergency plans and kits are in order in the event another storm comes our way. Find helpful information here www.fwb.org/hurricane.
